Composição para piano com influências de Chopin e do choro brasileiro, em homenagem à artista Ida Vieira Luppi.
Tem uma sonoridade delicada e profunda, inspirada nas lembranças da infância na fazenda, nas noites enluaradas, na gentileza e no primeiro amor.
Essa atmosfera suave e envolvente faz aflorar uma saudade tênue dos tempos idos e uma sensação de serenidade e paz adivinda da consciência tranquila em face do dever cumprido.

Composition for piano with influences from Chopin and brazilian choro, dedicated for the artist Ida Vieira Luppi.
It has a delicate and deep sound, inspired by memories of childhood on the farm, moonlit nights, gentleness and first love. 
This soft and enveloping atmosphere brings out a tenuous longing for times gone by and a sense of serenity and peace from a clear conscience in the face of fulfilled duty.

Lembranças Da Vó Ida (Memories From The Grandma Ida)

"Inventione Di Gustinelli" was originally composed for an exhibition by artist Ulderico Pinfildi. Under the influence of the contrapuntal style of Bach's music, the multi instrumentalist Samuel Gustinelli explores timbres of harpsichord, organ of pipes and strings in different textures, evidencing the baroque period.
The play is a construction of three voices that undulate, meeting and distancing themselves, in a clear evocation to the sacred atmosphere of the renaissance cathedrals that, against the armed forces of the great empires of the Renaissance era constituted in points of refuge and peace. 
Their tensions and resolutions translate the simplicity and ingenuity of the peasants whose only support was their own faith and who, encouraged by the culture that turned to the valorization of humanism, began to perceive themselves deserving of divine benevolence.

Inventione Di Gustinelli  foi originalmente composta para uma exposição do artista plástico Ulderico Pinfildi. Sob a influência do estilo contrapontista da música de Bach, o multi instrumentista Samuel Gustinelli explora timbres de cravo, órgao de tubos e cordas em diferentes texturas, evidenciando o período barroco.
A peça é uma construção de três vozes que ondulam, se encontrando e se distanciando, numa clara evocação à sagrada ambientação das catedrais renascentistas que, ante a força armada dos grandes impérios da época renascentista se constituíam em pontos de refúgio e paz. 
Suas tensões e resoluções traduzem a simplicidade e ingenuidade dos camponeses cujo único sustento era a própria fé e que, incentivados pela cultura que se voltava para a valorização do humanismo, começavam a se perceber merecedores da benevolência divina.

The "Northeastern Saga" reflects the inner strength and joy of a people who, despite the difficulties of the dry nature in which they live, they manage to keep faith in their personal God and they believe that everything will work out. This faith makes them move forward towards progress by manifesting itself through music and dance ...
And the swing goes ... In a rhythm of "coco", merry melodies stand out over a bass ostinato, representing the victory strength and faith in the hardness of the daily toil ... and in this swing we grow, it spins, the dance grows, it feeds the inner fire, and brings joy, because the Northeastern is happiness, Northeastern music is dynamic and it the fibers of our personality bringing much happiness ... And the swing will go...


A "Saga Nordestina" reflete a força interior e alegria de um povo que,  a despeito das interpéries da natureza seca em que vivem, conseguem manter a fé no seu Deus pessoal e acreditam que tudo vai dar certo. Esta fé os faz seguirem em frente rumo ao progresso extravando-se através da música e da dança...
E o gingado vai... Num rítmo de côco, melodias alegres e festeiras pintam e se sobressaem sobre um ostinato grave, representando a vitória da força e da fé sobre a dureza da labuta diária... e neste gingando a gente cresce, gira, a dança cresce, alimenta o fogo interior, e traz alegria, porque o nordestino é felicidade, a música nordestina é dinâmica e mexe com as fibras de nossas personalidade trazendo muita felicidade... E o gingado vai...

A Saga Nordestina

“Big Monkey Land” reflects the struggle for survival in the face of the clash with the force and defense of wild and unexplored nature. It brings a contrast between a nostalgia and longing for family and distant lands, and the tension with the possibility of imminent danger in a strange and unknown world.

Always vigilant ... mysteries of the sea, forest gods, howls of the wind, of silence ... a sad “fado”, old memories, homesickness ... Always in vigil ...

Based on the stories of Hans Staden and his struggle for survival in a strange land before his capture by the natives, refers to the time of discovery of Brazil. It is formed by a composite work made of the junction of "Big Monkey" (Samuel Gustinelli) with "A Fado for Burikioka" (Roseane Luppi).

"Macaco Grande" was composed based on the rhythm of Caboclinho (the only rhythm considered genuinely Brazilian per to exist in Brazil among the Indians before the discovery of Brazil), mixing indigenous and forest sounds with Cabocinho's percussion in a strong and rustic sensation of the forces of nature. "A Fado for Burikioka", a compound inspired by the Portuguese fados and their lamentation, refers to the longing for a distant and inaccessible land.


Terra do Macaco Grande reflete a luta pela sobrevivência diante do confronto com a força e defesa da natureza selvagem e inexplorada. Traz um contraste entre, uma nostalgia e saudade de familiares e terras distantes, e a tensão diante da possibilidade de perigo iminente num mundo estranho e desconhecido.

Sempre em vigília… mistérios do mar, deuses da floresta, uivos do vento,  do silêncio… um triste fado, velhas recordações, saudades doída… Sempre em vigília…

Baseado nas histórias de Hans Staden e sua luta pela sobrevivência em terra estranha diante de sua captura pelos nativos, remete à época de descobrimento do Brasil. É formada por uma obra composta feita da junção de “Macaco Grande” (Samuel Gustinelli) com “Um Fado para Burikioka” (Roseane Luppi).

“Macaco Grande” foi composta  baseada no ritmo de Caboclinho (único ritmo considerado genuinamente brasileiro por existir no Brasil entre os índios antes do descobrimento do Brasil) mesclando sons característicos indígenas e da floresta com a percussão do Caboclinho numa sensação forte e rústica das forças da natureza. “Um Fado para Burikioka” composto inspirado nos fados portugueses e seus lamentos, remete à saudade de uma terra distante e inacessível.

In any period of humanity the walk is the same: search for well being, for perfection… Intemperies, persecutions, wars, falls, sorrows and joys, successes and failures go happening in the middle of this walk… but the course has to be followed with focus and strength… moving towards progress no matter the costs… from farm man to doctor, from the old to the modern, the human aspiration, the route of life, is and will be the same, search for perfection… When, at last, they are only ways the human race to achieve the evolution.

“1000 years” is the first movement of a suite of four movements composed initially by order by the dance company “Sol Cia de Dança” for the show “Icons”. Part of a constant deep ostinato in a strong rhythm of “Maracatú”, provoking a constant tension, without rest. In a contemporary style, fleeing the tonal harmonic field, it is characterized by a modern sonority and refers to a feeling of tension, action and movements, representing the constant search of the human race in search of progress and evolution.




Em qualquer período da humanidade a caminhada é a mesma: busca pelo bem estar, pela perfeição... Intempéries, perseguições, guerras, quedas, tristezas e alegrias, sucessos e fracassos vão acontecendo no meio desta estrada… mas o curso tem que ser seguido, com foco e força… Caminhando rumo ao progresso, custe o que custar, doa a quem doer… Do homem do sertão ao doutor, do antigo ao moderno, a aspiração humana, a rota da vida, é e serão os mesmos,  busca pela perfeição… quando, por fim, são só meios do ser humano se lapidar para atingir a evolução.

“Mil Anos” é o primeiro movimento de uma suíte de 4 movimentos composta inicialmente sob encomenda pela companhia de dança “Sol Cia de Dança” para o espetáculo Ícones. Parte de um ostinato profundo constante num ritmo forte de maracatú, provocando uma tensão constante, sem descanso. Num estilo contemporâneo, fugindo do campo harmônico tonal, caracteriza-se por uma sonoridade moderna e remete a uma sensação de tensão, ação e movimentos, representando a luta constante da raça humana em busca do progresso e evolução.

Recuerdos (Samuel Gustinelli)

Pianist, arranger and composer, trained in piano MPB / JAZZ by the conservatory of Tatuí. His influences are Bill Evans, César Camargo Mariano, Egberto Gismonti and Hermeto Pascoal. He was part of several musical formations, adapting with versatility from solo works to big bands. He is currently a member of the experimental orchestra "André Marques and Vintena Brasileira", which he has been a part of since 2002.

Through his interest in Brazilian music, he started experiments in order to improve his piano technique and to obtain a sound of his own, adapting elements of Brazilian percussion in the way of performing the piano. In this context, he began to unite the harmonic and melodic complexity, characteristic of the piano works, with the percussive power of the piano, resulting in a style as instrumentalist, vigorous, organic and visceral. A versatile musician who transforms his influences into a sound that is rich harmonically, pungent in melodies and intensely rhythmic, thus making a unique, modern and, above all, Brazilian music.

As a composer, he possesses an unparalleled creativity from the junction of his formal knowledge with the result of his musical research. It builds works of great energy, strength and beauty, starting from small elements, ideas or abstract suggestions ... converting them into climates and musical atmospheres … Architecting them harmonically, melodically and rhythmically ... developing them and culminating in a peculiar sonority and odd that translates a complex range of moments and sensations.

He is currently developing a method of teaching Brazilian piano, collecting and organizing, in a didactic way, all his research work in relation to Brazilian music and its application to the piano. He is part of the vlog production team "Foco No Faro", where he is responsible for the compositions and recordings of the musical tracks. He is engaged in a research and development work in electronic music, aiming to incorporate in this universe, his musical knowledge and elements of Brazilian music, aiming for a differentiated sonority coming from the union of electronic music with Brazilian music, an area still little explored and full of possibilities.
