Never Leaving Now

The combination of winter, sickness, long hours at work, etc., has sapped my creativity somewhat these past several weeks, but finally something new.  Waves of sound, creation and destruction.  Melodies forward and backward, with varied timing.  Colorful noise.  The title alludes somewhat to the spiritual nature of avant-garde jazz, but also to a Ted Chiang story wherein seekers attempt to catch a glimpse of angelic light --- thought to provide a state of grace, pursued by desperate individuals despite the knowledge that it will also disfigure or kill the recipient.
