Ho ho ho, the mystery-shrouded Rrose - named after Marcel Duchamp’s eponymous persona, punches in right on cue for Xmas with an absolute monster of a two-hour jaunt into their exquisitely twisted headspace. Having served up some of the finest techno slabs of the past decade through the likes of Sandwell District, Stroboscopic Artefacts and now their own dedicated imprint, Eaux, Rrose steps in the series with a bonkers mix of dusty techno hustle-and-bustle, neatly alternating sequences of pumping 4x4 aerobatics, searing, noise-adjacent outbursts and eerie melodies to hypnotic effect. A constant balancing act of raw power and haunting score, Rrose’s RYC mix takes us on a deep and fascinating trip into genre-unbound territories, where only abandon and wildness reign supreme. Smooth as silk…deep, fresh and clear like a mountain lake - this outstanding mix is created by the master of hypnotic sounds PATTRN.

Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, PATTRN’s work as a producer bases itself on the creation of space and its perception for the audience. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, PATTRN’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene.

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka PATTRN has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground.

Having shared the decks with the likes of Luke Slater, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Kangding Ray, Svreca, and many more, PATTRN uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.

Starting with the field recording sounds she collected it in Japan, you enjoy the Kerrie's iconic clear sonic sounds and intricate repetitive sounds.

去年３日目のナイトタイムにLiveセットで登壇し、強烈な印象を残したKerrieから、ruralでの音楽体験にインスパイアされたミックス作品が届きました。その際に録音したという日本でのフィールドレコーディングから始まるこの作品では、彼女の代名詞とも言えるクリアなソニックサウンドと複雑な反復サウンドを堪能することができるでしょう。

This is the first track from a new collaborative album with me and  Julien Ottavi (aka THE NOISER), which has been just released from Polish label Monotype Records.

This is soundtrack composition for one of the most innovative avant-garde silent Japanese cinema and a masterpiece of early experimental film "Kurutta Ippeiji / A Page of Madness" directed by Teinosuke Kinugasa in 1926. This soundtrack was commissioned by Buda Arts Centre in Kortrijk, Belgium in 2009.
