Back in 2012 a relative of mines approached me about writing a song for his daughter Salote aka "Charlie" for her birthday. So I did and this ends up being one of my kids favorite song. The featured artist on this tune is my niece Sela Kioa who happens to be Charlie's first cousin. This is her first song ever and I think she was either 12 or 13 when I brought her into the studio. I am so proud of her.

Urban Island Music Artist, Samu is the smooth son from Texas. This young southerner has an old soul and his R&B/Soulful vibes mixed with a reggae twist along with a blend of hip-hop and dancehall influences make his sound very unique. 

Samu has worked with talented artists such as Fiji, Aaradnah, J Boog, Peetah Morgan from the Grammy Award-winning reggae group Morgan Heritage, and also American rapper Baby Bash. 

Samu is a very proud advocate of his Polynesian culture and hopes to use his work to make a positive impact not only amongst his people, but within his community, and the future of the next generations to come!
