I wrote this song about being in high school and feeling like the world was on my shoulders and that every decision I made had the power to change everything. But as I got I older, I realized that you can't prepare for everything and that looking back at it, none of it really mattered. The song started out as a simple guitar riff, but I got super excited about writing a song that wasn't about love and immediately called my buddy Lucas (LEXIM) and we just wrote and produced the song on the spot.

The year is 2013. It's Friday afternoon and you just got home from school. You turn on your xbox 360 and play cod with the boys. You decide it's time for some bangers to get you in the zone. 

Virtual riot, Madeon, Porter Robinson and Panda eyes flood your ears. The 'raise your weapon' remix just came out and it SLAPS. HARD. You stay up all night with the homies blasting tracks on DSG and ENM just trying to complete halo 4 on legendary. You fall asleep at 4AM.

Life is good.
