After months of careful preparation, the time has come to announce the first official release on Ebbs & Flows. Marking the beginning of the label’s journey, we are proud to welcome Belgian producer @owlfromdeepspace as our inaugural artist.

With “Spectral Shadows”, Owl delivers a profound exploration of deep drum & bass / halfstep aesthetics. The four-track EP guides listeners through an immersive sonic landscape - blending halftime rhythms, melodic tension, and a cinematic pulse that resonates at the edge of the digital void. Each composition traces the remnants of lost transmissions, where spectral echoes converge and dissolve into timeless soundscapes. 

“Spectral Shadows” EP will be released on November 27th, marking a significant milestone for the label that was designed to offer a sonic journey - one that moves freely, without the constraints of genre. With its first release, the imprint sets out to explore the depths of electronic music’s emotional and textural spectrum, celebrating fluidity, atmosphere, and artistic vision.

A pro, a geek, a friend. 
Can’t name too many that have such a pure fixation towards electronic music as this guy has. This and his consistent action puts him in a special position on the national map. The set he recorded for us is characterized by a subtle nature. The sounds are suspended in the atmosphere, creating a dreamlike environment throughout the recording.

For our final release of 2016, we are proud to have reached our milestone 100th Dispatch release, marking the occasion with a Various Artists’ compilation featuring some of our favourite producers from the past and present.

Celebrating some of the artists that have moulded the label today, whilst simultaneously showcasing upcoming talent, the album is split into two parts – the ‘Future Blueprint’; including original / newly remixed music from the likes of DLR, Skeptical, Gerra, Stone & Cern and the ‘Past Blueprint’; a selection of our best loved cuts from over the years, with numerous showings from Survival, Break and Zero T, plus classics from A.I., Marcus Intalex and Duo Infernale.

Reflecting on how the label and artists have developed together in time, further names appear on both Parts 1 & 2, including Script (on ‘Sahara’ with Survival and also the classic ‘Set Up The Set’) and label boss Ant TC1, alongside Chris SU and Stress Level first for ‘Waves’ and now, remixing Nymfo’s ‘Coming Through’ with Seattle duo Quadrant & Iris.

With special thanks to all the fans, press and DJs that have supported us over the years, we are thrilled to have made it to a century of releases; with so much good music around today, we look forward to sharing our plans for 2017 and on.
