This was such a magical evening! ✨

This was my first time ever DJing at the Istana, in Uluwatu. 🌴

And my third time DJing for a DōJō Contact Jam. (The first 2 were at Moksa, in Ubud.) 💃

I love that I have so many opportunities to play completely different styles of music, and still find my own flavor within all of them. 🔥

These dances have a very special place in my heart. DJing sitting on the floor, as if at a tea ceremony. The slow tempo. The spaciousness. The connection and embodiment of the dancers. SUCH a vibe.

Thank you Joe, Lisa, the Istana, and everyone else involved.

And thank you to all the incredible dancers that came out. It was such an honor to have the fullest dance floor the Istana DōJō has ever seen. Wow. ❤️

DōJō Contact Dance | The Istana | Bali | 20.07.2023

Journey into the ambient side of the Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom, Variant Field, Rara Avis, Bluetech and Shamans Dream with “Vajra Mind,” a collection of 21 meditative soundscapes compiled into a 2 hour soundtrack by AMANI. The calming quality of this music will add a soothing space to your life and creativity. “Vajra Mind” features some never before released tracks and alternate versions of classic tunes, and collects the various ambient tracks featured in the Desert Trax catalog from 2001 to 2015 into one cohesive offering. This music is medicine.
