Hintergrund: 
Nach einem Jahr, als DJ in der Schweizer Drum & Bass (D&B) Szene (Divercity Label), war es an der Zeit das nächste Projekt in Angriff zu nehmen. Ein D&B Set, das einen an der Hand nimmt und eine Reise, durch die verschiedenen D&B Subgenres (D&B Musikrichtungen) vermittlet. Es ist auch eine Reise, auf emotionaler Ebene. Anfangs sphärische Musik über gefülsvolle Klänge, um den Sonnenaufgang in vollen Zügen zu geniessen und zu zellebrieren. Bis letztlich, die Sonne am Himmel steht und durch die Subgenres High Energy und Neurofunk, den Hörer und Berg durch die Power und Dynamik der Musik erwekt. Ganz nach dem Motto: der Berg ruft!

Für die Unterstützung, im Bereich Videodreh, Schnitt und Feinschliff musste ich nicht lange grübeln. Der kompetente, kreative Videomaker & Fotograf Scheib Miro (Ebenfalls Resident bei dem All Style D&B Label Divercity aus Zürich), nahm das Projekt an und übernahm den kompletten PartDirector of Productions. Für beide war es, somit das erste Videoset Projekt. 
An dieser Stelle Chapeau und ein riesiges Dankeschön an Scheib Miro!!
Ohne Ihn wäre dieses Projekt nicht möglich gewesen !

Sehr kompetentes, gastfreundliches Personal und einen Koch (Reinsch Kevin) der Ihnen das beste Essen zaubert dass sie jemals geniessen werden. Gehen Sie auf den Gipfel und überzeugen sie sich selbst!

It's been a loooong time coming but the debut album from Rido is finally on it's way and it's coming out on Black Sun Empire's label Blackout Music.

From that forthcoming album, Rhythm Of Life, this is the absolutely massive track Solar Walk. The production on this is nuts and the rest of the album is absolutely wicked. Keep your eyes peeled for this one dropping on 23rd September.

Critical Recordings boss and the artist behind this March’s FABRICLIVE 62 CD, Kasra Mowlavi, has confirmed that he’s pressed two exclusive remixes to vinyl to commemorate the CD’s release. The limited edition 10” vinyl is comprised of two of the standout exclusive tracks from the mix: Enei’s stomping remix of Foreign Concept’s ‘Mob Justice’ and Concept’s dark junglist take on Enei’s incredible ‘Obsession’.

The announcement of Murdock’s album sent shockwaves throughout the wider world of electronic music, and not just drum & bass; that’s because he’s reigned supreme over the music circuit for years, heading up Belgium’s Rampage Festival and helping thousands of ravers worldwide enjoy some of their favourite artists, alongside the best technics live spaces have seen. 
But he’s also dedicated as much of his time to his own sonic art, the type of has already been unveiled across a variety of mainstay drum & bass labels. Although for his landmark album, he returns to Viper, a label which is celebrating fifteen years of its history with an exciting addition to their catalogue. After already dropping Murdock’s first single ‘Holding On’ earlier this summer, the electric collaboration with James Marvel, he’s set to revisit ‘Stronger’ with brand new single ‘Dark Cloud’ ft. Dynamite MC. 

Dynamite MC is one of the many renowned featuring artists who’ve made an appearance throughout Murdock’s ‘Stronger’ LP. He adds his tell-tale vocals to a track which takes you through the darker side of Murdock’s production; the flipside of records like ‘Holding On’. Flipping drum patterns and a foreboding intro takes you up into its first climatic breakdown. Although not without the synths which are a signature of Murdock’s production, there’s a moodiness that seeps through its every layer. Murdock shows that ‘Stronger’ will be an exploration of the diversity he’s worked on since he first began making music and this makes an appearance throughout the album. ‘Holding On’ and ‘Dark Cloud’ are just two instances of this versatility. 

Viper deliver yet another groundbreaking record and in doing so, they prove why they’ve managed to build over a decade’s worth of quality releases.
