This song has a somewhat deep meaning.

represents one of those dreams, when your soul leaves the earthly world and goes to heaven.

Suddenly, you see stairs that seem endless, and you try to climb each step with effort and sacrifice to discover what is on the other side, while you face obstacles that will impede your objective.

After an eternity, you discover that there is on the other side, you have that feeling, of when you feel at peace, that you feel that you are already made to go to the other side to enjoy eternal life. You feel like voices from above call you, while, at the same time, you hear a heavenly choir sing a somewhat particular melody.

Then you fall into a void that seems endless, and then wake up from that dream that seemed real.
