In the short story "The Great China Wall" Kafka tells that this collosal work has been accomplished through the piecemeal system, exactly the same technique used by SANdBLASTING to produce "El Paso Sound-Wall": a 100% synthetic impro of post-industrial drones assasinated by sonic brutisme stabs that reveal a solid experience in the live-act field. Then, as in a patchwork, the sounds of the impro become literally "raw material" to build 5 others power-electronics assaults (chiNOISErie) characterized by an original research on sound's grain and by a pernickety structural organization - noisician as oriental porcelains craftsman.

Luca Torasso celebrates 20 years of SANdBLASTING project activity
(1996 - 2016) with the new release "Twenty", a collection of 24 tracks
up to now published only on limited box editions (and some no more available ), compilations (Elektroanschlag, Schlagstrom, ZZZprod, ...) and the first two albums "I AM I" and "ScassatoLive".
Each single track has been rearranged and some parts, where needed, 
played and recorded using new sounds with different frequencies and waveforms.
In "Twenty" SANdBLASTING's old audio productions take on new life by highlighting the compositional ideas and sound layers created by Luca Torasso through the use of new pre- and post- production techniques not available at the time when the tracks were composed.
All the pre-production steps of each single track were personally performed 
by Luca Torasso while the final mastering has been carried out by
Eric van wonterghem at the Prodam Berlin studio ( http://www.prodam-berlin.com ).
20 years not only of audio productions (including exclusive remixes for Bahntier, Cervello Elettronico, Daniele Brusaschetto, Hanin Elias, Manufactura, No More, Xotox ...) but also live performances on international festival and club 
( Antagony, Elektroanschlag, MS Stubnitz, Schlagstrom, Slimeligth, ...).
"Twenty" will be available in two versions: 20 tracks by digital download
and limited box to N. 50 copies with 4 bonus tracks:
2 unreleased remixes by Infernalnoise ( https://www.facebook.com/infernalnoise ) and Monoanime ( https://www.facebook.com/Mono-Amine-official-144488665670349/ )
and 2 contest never published before ( Juno Reactor and Astrix ).

- Noise and Dark Synth made by some NE555 DIY circuits oscillators coupled together
- Mochika Synth
- Drum by Jomox Mbase distorted in real time by 2 DIY units Distortion based on germanium diodes
- Analogue Reverb and Delay DIY used on some samples

SANdBLASTING from the 1997 is the solo project of Luca Torasso. The name of the project has not been casually choose: there is a link between the sandblasting treatment carried out on the metal surface covered by rust and the Luca Torasso’s project. The SANdBLASTING project is because all the human being have a brain for to think and with to act but because of the long-time of no use, this vital organ has been covered by a thick layer of rust that prevent his regular  function (oxidation). The aim of the SANdBLASTING project is to generate abrasive and violent frequencies that act on the brain of the listener as the powder quartz  works on the rusted metal surface.
