Rolfe Kent’s theme for Dexter has been a big hit from the beginning. Recently Showtime’s Paul Nicholson wondered about using that theme as a starting point for a different take on Dexter.

With that in mind, Sandblast—in collaboration with Arclite and The Hair Kid—produced two great new tracks, “Tonight’s the Night,” and “It’s Time.” Both are available on iTunes, and both will be featured on a new CD of Dexter music on Milan Records.

Hey New Orleans is a track stuck in the past in both content and style. I hadn't written a Pop-Rock song in years, and was tired of all the electronic music I had been hearing; so I put together a track with real instruments instead of a MIDI keyboard.

I wrote, recorded, mixed, and played everything on this song except for the drums. (Thank you Peter Bistis!)
