In my last song which had anime inspirations to it (Alexis), people said they felt like they were missing out on part of the story. Now, however I’m going to tell you what the words mean and the situation. 

Sorata - “Mashiro, Don’t Go…”

Mashiro - “Sorata?”

Sorata - “Don’t go, don’t go, don’t leave us, don’t leave me!”

Mashiro - “Sorata, I heard you. I’m not going anywhere.”


The small line at the end says:

Mashiro - “What happened to me, is this, love?” 

This is from the series: “Sakurasou No Pet Kanojo” and this specifically is Episode 12.

This was originally going to be an instrumental track, and was going to be released about several months ago, but I thought I would try my luck and contact a few vocalists to see if they would like to sing on my song. 

When checking my emails to see that Charlotte had replied was absolutely surreal, after working with the likes of Xilent, Rameses B, Champion, and many more this opportunity was one that I was so overwhelmed to have. 

I wrote everything I could down into the melody and words. As for the project itself, I enjoyed working on it so much; it gave me chills to listen to a vocalist that I’ve listened to on my iTunes and stuff sing on one of my songs!

I was inspired to write the words after watching the Tomoyo chapter of Clannad, for those of you that know about the episode can probably see some resemblance.

I went through 4 vocalists, one of them sent me back vocals, and the other three were too busy. This has been sitting around on my computer for too long and I think it suits here. It was a very difficult vocal to pull off so I left it as an instrumental.

This song was based on Tokyo Ghoul. How no one remembers the original Kaneki.
