Strings Talk in the Night is an ambient improvisation drawn from a live coding session with FoxDot and evomusic: the Genetic Algorithm library. The 2 string tracks were semi-autonomously evolved by evomusic while I performed and improvised the piece around those 2 central tracks.

Strings Talk in the Night

Sampled a train under the bridge and birds on a trail walk. The track came about right there. The lofi drumset is a crossover between lofi hip hop and trap/glitch

A slide guitar/acoustic rhythm attempt to emulate the sitar by George Harrsion. 
Recorded using Audacity and a cheap laptop microphone.

Phat Phreddy's Drop

This is an attempt to explore japanese funk and drum/bass themes. Used lesser instruments and stuck to D Major. 

Record process:
Bass, guitar and synth - looped through an Audio Interface and MIDI keyboard
Drums - Programmed for chopped samples. Used Groove Pool in this track to create interesting pan changes and delay.
Live mix and master it to get the extra effects at the beginnininging and end of the song.
