Following the success of last year’s first Spirits compilation, Crosstown Rebels are back with volume 2. Expect “battle weapons galore” as Damian Lazarus unleashes eight tracks upon us that have been the biggest hits from his sets over the past year. Bathe yourself in a sonic soundscape that commands you to, as the man himself says, “play it loud”.

The second album opens up with the legendary Yousef delivering Heartbeat, a masterful track that perfectly balances light and dark, complete with euphoric strings. Next up is the seductive rhythm of Jenia Tarsol & Jinga with their offering - Jimjum.

On the B Side Nick Curly’s Maelstrom provides a darker, driving twist with a pulsating beat, followed by Emanuel Satie bumpy, rolling, inspiring master piece Fade, enlisting the divine and soulful vocal talents of Nanghiti.

The C Side features Jonas Rathsman bringing his tantalising touch to the proceedings next with Lost Youth. Its mystical tribal vocal sample and spiralling percussion glides into the Amazonian beats of Doorly & Tan Dem, who sample tropical birdsong on their offering, with a blistering piano breakdown.

Finally zotar aka Kenny Glasgow’s CIRCLE OF FEAR is pure afterhours hedonism. A throbbing beat drives the track forward with its enticing male vocal. Bartolomeo gifts us with a weighty number that utilises glitchy undertones on Celeste.

it’s been almost a year since Grace In Space appeared on Spaghetti Monster in one of the NY compilations. As for originals being a very pedantic and scrupulous person Grace In Space usually work hard on details thats why his tracks are full of small episodes action taking you high. Among the remixes you can find our old warrior Leâo who took a lot of difficulties to make this remix so special thanks goes to Greg. And surely we have some new for a label names on board: Shunus comes with a groovy and deep remake for Morning dealer, Althoff delivered some ethnic techno approach for Mantle track making it special for this pack and for sure Hafenkande send his welcome edit for Mantle in a tech and underground manner. She Knows is a spanish-brazilian duo with an unmistakable sound: a mix of 90's Pop and modern Dance music. Their credo - to take time for the beautiful things in life, in order to experience these on a deeper level - are mirrored in their music. Knowing this, it is not surprising, that the sound of She Knows, with its 10 bpm less than usual, noticeably sets itself apart from the usual club music. René Bourgeois and Sascha Cawa, who are integral to the scene with their many years of experience as DJ's and producers, each contribute one remix to this EP.

She Knows ist ein spanisch - brasilianisches Duo mit einem unverwechselbaren Sound, ein Mix aus 90´s Pop und moderner Dance-Musik.
Ihr Credo - Sich Zeit nehmen für die schönen Dinge im Leben, um diese dann auf einer tieferen Ebene zu erleben -  spiegelt sich auch in ihrer Musik wieder. Mit diesem Gedanken im Hinterkopf überrascht es nicht, dass der Sound von She Knows mit seinen 10 bpm weniger sich spürbar von der gängigen Clubmusik abhebt. Je einen Remix steuern René Bourgeois und Sasha Cawa bei, die beide durch ihre jahrelangen Erfahrungen als DJ´s und Produzenten kaum mehr aus der Szene wegzudenken sind.

The EP features 6 original tracks that he produced throughout the past year using the same two synths, one being the famous 808. Deuce likes everything kept to a minimum when producing minimal, that includes the number of instruments - keeping it stripped down, but still very filling at the same time, while maintaining a groove. 

Deuce has been a huge fan of Creepy Finger since the very beginning, so both parties are over the moon for this release.

DJs are a nomadic people. Drifting between venues, airports and hotel rooms, they’re always on the hunt for new music and clubbing activity. They are, indeed, the Bohemians of the 21st Century. Or as Britta Arnold, unders and Noraj Cue would call them: Happy Campers. 

2018 has been a magnificent year for the Happy Camper family. Much has happened since the imprint burst unto the scene with HCR001, ‘Story at the Campfire.’ Five releases further down the line, the family is bigger than ever, and the signature sound is ever more refined. This sixth EP by German favorite Iorie is another team effort. And with Sam Shure, Genii, Unders and Noraj Cue on remix duties, you know it’s set to rip floors across the globe. 

Iorie is a remarkable human being. He’s been singing, playing instruments and producing music since the tender age of 15. Inspired by his extensive travels and his many international encounters, Iorie writes cryptic lyrics, which he sings in mesmerizing ways. Happy Camper crossed his path in KaterBlau (where else) and instantly fell in love with his tantalizing vocals and sounds. 

Both the original mixes on this Less Is More EP showcase Iories exquisite ear for details, and his knowledge of musical theory. More may sound soothing at first, but you’re in for a treat as soon as the synthesizer starts ripping it. Both Sam Shure and Genii have made some excellent reinterpretations, Sam Shure adding a delicate and euphoric pads and pianos, and Genii taking it down a notch for those extra slow-burning vibes. 

Less takes you deeper into the dark night, its compelling bassline wooing you into a state of hypnosis, before hurling you back on your tippy toes again. Happy Camper head honchos unders & Noraj Cue team up for a very tribal contribution. Feel the drums resounding through your limbs, as you bounce your way to blissful oblivion.
