Gorje Hewek and Rony Seikaly return to Watergate Records with their second studio link-up, 'Text Me', following last year’s standout collaboration 'Get Up and Dance'. 

The duo once again find a seamless balance between Hewek’s melodic sophistication and Seikaly’s rhythmic power, delivering a record that’s both emotional and purpose-built for the dance floor. 'Text Me' channels late-night energy and warmth in equal measure, a rolling, hypnotic cut that feels as intimate as it is expansive.

For Gorje Hewek, this marks his first original release of the year. After reworking Meca & Nezello for the label earlier this spring, he returns with a production that embodies his trademark mix of melody and groove.

Rony Seikaly continues a standout run this year, building on the momentum of multiple EPs and singles. Known for his sophisticated take on house music that fuses groove with emotional depth, Seikaly’s productions have become staples in top-tier DJ sets worldwide.

Together, Hewek and Seikaly’s 'Text Me' is a natural continuation of their creative chemistry, a track that feels effortless yet meticulously crafted, connecting the pulse of the club to the emotion of the listener.

Amsterdam-based DJ, producer, and live artist Rose Ringed joins Sapiens with Dancing Heart / Set Me Free — two euphoric, synth and percussion-led journeys that capture the emotional duality at the heart of his sound: introspection and release.
Known for his ability to merge classical musicianship with modern electronic emotion, Rose Ringed has become one of the most compelling voices in melodic house and techno. His music, often described as cinematic yet deeply human, is built around his background in jazz piano and drumming — a foundation that gives his productions their distinctive sense of rhythm and harmonic depth.
With releases on Diynamic, Spectrum, and his own Closed Eyes imprint, and support from Solomun, Joris Voorn, Adriatique, Tiësto, Argy, Blond:ish, and Kolsch, Rose Ringed has earned a reputation for creating records that move both the body and the spirit. His remix of Tiësto’s classic “Lethal Industry” became a modern anthem, championed across the world’s biggest stages by Armin van Buuren, Innellea, Colyn, and Miss Monique, further cementing his position as a boundary-crossing artist.

For the 23rd entry in our ICONYC catalogue, we welcome rising Swedish star Fahlberg and his collaborative single with German maestro Paul Brenning, Show Me. Hinting at something emotionally gripping from the onset, the original version of Show Me unfurls over a tight frame as a synthetic bed surges to the front before Fahlberg deploys a thundering bassline. Slowly, we start to sway, making our way to a break in the cloud while Brennings ever-alluring vocals glide over the piece in a spectral presence, immersing us deeper into the narrative, as crisp arpeggios make their way through brass swells and backing chords. Blissful, yet exciting at every turn, Show Me is a dazzling collaboration that invites us to revel in the possibility of a new, warmer dawn.

'Ethereal Ecstasy' is the latest offering from Jack Lazarus on his own imprint, Into The Myst, a three-track progressive house trip that leans deep into cosmic textures and club-driven energy.

The EP opens with its title track, 'Ethereal Ecstasy', built around a rolling bassline, a sharp plucky lead, and a groovy, forward-pushing beat. It’s bright, rhythmic, and tailor-made for lifting a dance floor into motion.

'Astropulse' follows with pure kinetic momentum. A looping, driving progression propels the track forward, capturing the sensation of blasting through space at lightspeed. Its evolving structure and hypnotic energy make it a standout peak-time tool.

Closing the EP is 'Fractal Motion', the most melodic cut of the three, while still anchored in a steady progressive groove. A huge plucky synth takes over in the breakdown and returns for a soaring finale, delivering both emotion and dance-floor power.

Whether it’s producing, remixing or dj’ing, Sander Kleinenberg has been building credibility on all fronts for over twenty-five years. He has established himself as an advocate of progress and most of all, a pivotal player on the frontier of electronic music. Starting out dj-ing at merely fifteen years old, a young Sander Kleinenberg was inspired by club music and hip-hop culture in the late eighties. This cultural shift inspired his own musical path, which in turn led to him traveling the world and spreading his sound along the way. Many awards, accolades and having performed all corners of the world later you could say it was destiny. 

Often mentioned when talking about the first wave of superstar dj’s from the progressive house wave around the turn of the century, Sander brought a mixture genres and styles to the table like never heard before. Quirky disco, psychedelia, Detroit techno, straight up soul and industrialism contributed greatly to the ever-evolving musical landscape in the ‘90s and 00’s. Sander’s eclectic persona and capability to always be two steps ahead of the rest have resulted in him being an award-winning dj and producer. As time passes by and his career unfolds, the pattern within it becomes more and more visible, Sander is a man on the move, always searching for the “perfect mix” in his own words. Sander’s relentless passion for perfection has kept him away from classification, putting hours upon hours into the enrichment of dj- and producer identity. Constantly twisting and shaping sounds. It’s this search for relevance in electronic musics development that keeps him re-inventing himself in every decade that has gone by since those early days. 

Today Sander looks back at his journey and thought it was time to make up the balance of all the corners of progress his career has taken him. You could call it a full circle type moment settling for nothing else but quality. If you are looking for someone who has searched high and low and has taken that into his current musical identity then Sander is your man. Like a fine wine matured into something wonderful.. Weaving generations, styles and a healthy eye on the future together in a relevant cocktail of musical maturity. In 2024 after a time of rejuvenation you can find Sander at a select number of dates around the world, revisiting his love for the clubs and countries that accompanied his journey along the way. It is time to once again rekindle his ability to bring levity and fun back to the dance floors.
