Essentials Fall 2022 takes us back to Chillville, where the hot days are behind us and the cozy days are ahead. Where we last left them, our favorite Raccoon and friends were enjoying a rooftop party and some warm summer nights. Now, our mascot is putting away shorts and sunglasses (in exchange for a yellow hoodie) and enjoying a solo day around the big city. The days are growing more chill, so grab a scarf, pour some coffee, and continue exploring.

With 25 tracks and nearly 40 artists and musicians, Essentials Fall 2022 is our newest seasonal offering since launching the compilation series back in 2016. Lofi and soothing, jazzy and laid-back, press play as you watch the leaves fall.

After some much needed solo time throughout the Fall, our Chillhop Raccoon closes out a year of Essentials by reuniting with best friends for a fun-filled and social Winter. Chillville is covered in snow, everything is closed, and this frosted metropolis feels like a new city worth exploring again. Skating and sledding then snowball fights and snow angels, only to eventually return indoors and cozy up under a blanket. 

At 26 songs with 38 musicians, Essentials Winter 2022 marks the 28th seasonal compilation since beginning back in 2016. Lofi and cozy, jazzy and alive, press play and stay warm.

After more than three years since releasing the four song mini-EP self reflection in 2019, Salt Lake City producer less.people returned to Chillhop Music with the single "Beautifully So" on Essentials Fall 2022. Now, the artist properly steps into the spotlight with a nine song solo beat tape. Piano-driven and melancholic, it feels like the soundtrack to the movie of your life.
