this was going to be a disco type song, like love is in the air, but it did not sound right with a dance beat, so stripped out all of that, added a 12 str and toned down the keyboard. the vocals will prolly get a do over next week

This is one about the election. The first line, I heard a lot on the news and talk shows right after the outcome, reassuring worried people that our country will make it through. I am not convinced we will, either way, it’s going to be a totally different America after these 4 years.

This song seemed a little over the top, so I went ahead and put in a gospel choir and a searing guitar lead just to make sure lol.

Sorry I haven't been on SC very much lately, I'm learning a new software app for my paying job and it is not making life easier, like I thought it would. I will be back soon!

Opening the door.

I'll finish E-Ruizzo project with a conceptual LP album: 4 songs about 'Arctica Point'. I imagined it amid rotation axis, geographic north and magnetic pole, and I located it on dry land !! Then I draw the cover art.

This opening track tells the decision of leaving this annoying present by travelling to that magical place. The following ones tell the trip and life there.

Translated lyrics will explain it with more detail:

NÃO SOU MÚSICA e é fácil perceber isto :):), mas aprecio um bom som. Minha vida não tem sentido sem música… Cantar é um dos seus entretenimentos. Alivia-me a alma e gosto de recordar, sentir-me perto dos meus. Canto apenas por diversão... Assim, não havendo intenção de copyright, as canções aqui apresentadas direciona o ouvinte, devidamente, ao respectivo autor, referências fundamentais que valem ser ressaltadas, creditadas.
