first remix was done by Mr Raoul K who is well known for his productions that mixes original African instruments with Techno and Deep House. His releases spreaded his unique sound over the world with great acclaim from Gilles Peterson, Joe Claussel and many other DJs.
His 12 min epic rework is full of psychedelic elements, hypnotic grooves and african percussions. Gilles Peterson already supported this one on his Worldwide show.

Young prodigy of good music, DJ & producer Simbad has become – while making 3 albums and more than 200 productions & remixes – one of the most demanded beatmakers in today’s electronic scene.
Simbad brings Mop Mop’s “Kamakumba” into a killer dancefloor tune full of dub elements and tight beats. The original version of “Kamakumba” has been “Today’s Top Tune” on the legendary “KCRW” radio.

French producer and DJ iZem started writing music during a 6 year-long musical adventure through Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Ireland. Now based in Lisbon, his unique hybrid sound joins the dots between cutting-edge beatmaking and post-tropical influences. His remix is a mid tempo funk pearl with refined Jazz and Hip-Hop elements.

The enigmatic Tennessee-raised, Turin-based Yves Tumor presents a poignant new album, recorded between Miami, Leipzig, Los Angeles and Berlin over the past three years. 

Evolved from a diverse and prolific creative history under an expansive plethora of covert aliases via various forward-thinking labels, 'Yves Tumor' emerges as his most personal and matured incarnation to date.

With involvement across various artistic outlets expanding to fashion such as a visceral live performance for LA's Hood By Air earlier this year, the global artist has built a distinctly bold personal aesthetic both musically and visually as a performer.

Painstakingly written from pieces developed upon since 2013, the new record, titled 'Serpent Music', was initially composed as a soul record - based around delicate and emotive songwriting in various forms. It was a highly difficult project to undertake on both a creative and personal level, weaving thematic links through paranoia, social anxiety, and missing loved ones. "The songs come from a much more emotional and very vulnerable place... They're very close to me and I've been cautious of how I would eventually present them to the world." he explains. 

The album spans sonically diverse and richly-textured pieces, formed from live, organic instruments, samples and various field recordings. Dreamlike lo-fi psychedelia sits alongside broken electronic experimentations, ambient compositions between abrasive noise offer insight into a haunting otherworld. From melodic choral vocals and soaring synths, to screeching guitar riffs, dramatic spoken word samples and live drumming, 'Serpent Music' evidently moves through a strange and intriguing personal journey.

The album is mastered and cut by Rashad Becker at D&M, featuring photography by Daniel Sannwald.

Yves Tumor - The Feeling When You Walk Away (PAN 73)

@itsYarni ’s ‘Entkommen’ was a well-received debut album on @nightnoisemusic last year, and now comes the first of two Eps of remixes.  The 1st part released in June featuring AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni.

Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on ‘Agitator’ creating a CFCF like vibe. It’s awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.

Night Noise newcomer @TalesOfVoodoo take ‘Goin Live in Rabat’, strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. 

All six remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another top notch release from Night Noise.
