Tracker Mini Session 2024-01-30

For those of you that know, i just got back into making music this year, after a 20+ year hiatus. The last thing i used was a Commodore Amiga 1200 with Protracker/Noisetracker. So this year i decided i'd learn all sorts of new tools and instruments  and purchased all sorts of fun gear. And then @Polyend  comes along and releases a Tracker!? I had to have it!

I received the Polyend Tracker 2 days ago. Started just playing around with it and before i knew it, i had a full track. @Polyend , thank you so much! It's soo much fun to play with!

First Attempt at the Polyend Tracker

After the last, more gloomy track, i wanted to have a complementary track to go with it. Also i wanted it to be somewhat contradictory. The last track was entirely done in Performance Mode. This needed to be a full Song-mode track. Instead of gloom i wanted the mood the be hopeful. Let's hope i achieved this. 😄 Oh! And Happy New Year everyone 🎉.

Just a quicky this time in order for me to test out some things on my setup. Drums are from the Polyend Tracker. The Tracker is sequencing the Polyend Medusa & Behringer Crave via MIDI, while also sending USB MIDI to Ableton to control 2 Native Instruments Kontakt Instances. 

Recorded into Ableton via a Zoom Livetrak L-20.
