This is my offering to the great city of Oslo. City of Edvard Munch, magical winter wonderland and home to the Nobel Peace Prize. It was written in Casilho, my house in the Portuguese woods, finished under the spiritual guidance of Leonard Cohen, Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali and John Lennon, and recorded in The Village, our new creative sandbox in a repurposed school in Famalicão.

It started off as a hymn to desire and escape, but with the shape-shifting flow of these crazy times, the pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine, it ended up as an anthem to brotherhood, peace and love. Is there a better place to bring a song about peace to the shore?
