Recording of a DJ set I did for my best friend's birthday. Genre-wise, this set was meant to be a three-way between Miami Bass, Techno, and some Neoperreo. 

150 bpm the whole way, constant high energy throughout. It was amazing to see so many of our friends dancing in our living room. We really turned it into a club just for the night.

First song of the set was cut, since I forgot to hit record until partly through the second track. Ah well.

LIVE DJ MIX: Sarah's Birthday Rager (at our House)

My wife and best friend are running a half marathon this Friday, and they requested that I make them a little mix to run to. Super casual mix with a real eclectic selection of songs, at a mix of tempos and genres that probably shouldn't go together.

There's some bad transitions in here, and a handful of good ones. The transitions become rougher as the mix goes on, which should help motivate you to finish sooner.

(I was doing this mix dead sober on a Thursday. I started to get sleepy.)

Prepping some tracks for this Friday gig, so might as well spin some tracks while I wait. Super chill 118 bpm stuff while my wife reads a book. All stuff that I probably won't play later this week. 

Cut it short to catch up on some sleep from last weekend.

Low Key Dance Mix for a Thursday Night

A partial recording of a set I did for Daksh's pride rooftop party! It was really fun! The vibes were kind of nuts, but everyone was super nice and we made a lot of friends! 

Sadly my two hour set got cut short by the cops. As well, I forgot to start recording until partially through the second song. I keep forgetting to start recording before I start my set lol. 

(I've cut the recording at the point where a cop shined a flashlight at me.)

Shared a lineup with DJ Frazzo and JustJerr, and they were lovely. Really cool that I got to play with them. Overall, a great time was had by all. Except for the neighbors I guess.

Live Mix: Daksh's Bitch Off Pride Kick Off 2025-05-31

First recorded mix on an actual CDJ that Oscar brought. (Was not expecting one honestly.) Thankfully I had a Rekordbox USB that I prepped just in case, but it's an older library, so there's a lot of repeats from my older mixes. Not my smoothest mix, but it was a chill party and it was good to get some exposure to those types of decks!

Recording of a set I did for Julie's birthday. Lots of Russian darkwave, since I was in a particular mood for it. Slower than my usual party sets, I kept this around 130 bpm. I tried to keep the track selection slightly more chill than usual. After all, this was just an extended pre-game for our main event.
