Sane Sid is a SF Bay Area resident DJ who is known for playing House, Deep house, Tech house, UK Garage, Techno & Melodic Techno and whose music is deeply influenced by groovy, deep, melodic tunes and dance floor bangers. His roots are deeply embedded with House, Techno, Trance and Goa trance music. 

Sid started his music career when he was 16 as a pianist + vocalist for an alternative rock band in Mumbai and got swept up by the electronic dance music back during late 2000s.

Sid believes everyday is an adventure; inside & outside of our minds. Thus his music selection is based not on genre, but the feels & emotions tied to the vibrations of each track. Movement, whether it is your body or your soul is inevitable. Sid’s fascination with music is in the frequency that radiates out of each track. Different wave lengths emit different sounds, that formulate various emotions. This healing energy is music energy. This is his story told through music. While his music is fluid and free, one thing that remains constant is his ability to take listeners on a beautiful journey of sound. 

Not one to pigeonhole himself into one style, Sane Sid traverses the BPMs and moods and focuses on telling a story through progression with his DJ sets. His tracks go from the deeper end of downtempo and breaks through to the grooves of house and Techno. A typical hour-set would see him build from laid-back ambient sounds, to proper “hands-in-the-air” house and techno and everything in between. If there’s one thing Sid does well, it’s getting the party started.

Sane Sid envisions to have a safe, collective healing space for people who can dance, move your body, flow to the music, heal, spread positive, loving vibes and enjoy connecting with music, yourself and the people around you. 

Not set on staying still, he will continue to push himself musically and professionally and will happily continue to share his love for music with the world. Sane Sid will continue playing different styles of house, techno & ecstatic music at We Are One events, Love More Gatherings and also currently looking to pursue new residencies as a platform to push his craft forward while looking forward to collaborating with other artists. He believes in his progressive life philosophy that music has the power to bring change to the world, and there is little stopping him.
