This is what happens when two of this scene’s creative masterminds meet on the beaches of Goa: Sangoma Records is happy to present the first batch of results of David (Kabayun) from the USA and Mike (Drip Drop / Ridden) from Greece who have joined forces in 2014 and wrote music whenever they had the chance to meet. This first of 3 EP's is a reflection of their experiences in India and Greece - recently updated and edited in 2017 as well as mastering by Scorb to please the ears and fry the minds of dancers and deities of today. We at Sangoma are happy to present you our latest digital compilation to celebrate 6 years of Sangoma Records. Selectas Emiel and Daksi came up with this idea just a few weeks ago and have been busy selecting these irie tunes of our signed label-artist to give you a glimpse what is cooking in 2018 and to share some insights and visions. For this release we were inspired by the concept of the “Soundsystem”, an important part of Jamaican culture, which changed and revolutionized the concept of music. This release features comes with a multipage booklet - fresh tunes, rare remixes and collaborations by our label-artists. Sangomesque summertime jamrock for the cold winter months.

In southern Africa, the Sangoma is an intermediary for the ancestors, and sacred spirits, the wanderer between the worlds, and the practitioner of herbal medicine; a healing shaman, or for some a feared witch doctor. The aim of Sangoma Records is to release psychedelic music without any stubborn stylistic definitions, or boundaries – music made by unique new talents, and established artists who don’t follow trends, and instead deliver something new and outside the box.
