One of the reasons that I was drawn to electronic music was the ability to produce entire songs and entire compositions completely independently…and ”Gravity” is a perfect embodiment of that concept. This song’s most prominent feature, is how easy it is to get lost in all the different layers of the soundscape…while still being able to hear each voice individually as well. From the deep bass lines to each note of the reverberant piano. Each one was selected precisely and deliberately to make this emotional piece one of the most unique on the album.

I’m proud to kick off the album with the track “Nothing Better”.  The track carries a certain optimism; not only in the lyrics, but in the chords, melodies and overlaps of voices as well. This song is meant to capture the sentiment “There’s Nothing Better Than This”. It can certainly mean different things to different people, but for me, It’s making music. Breathing life into my own personal soundtrack is incomparable and…well there’s Nothing Better than the feeling that comes with it…I hope this song gives you a taste of the same.
