A bold exploration of sound design and musical form. As in a concerto, To & Fro introduces, develops and recapitulates multiple themes in ever-changing sonic layers. With To &  Fro, Santi once again displays his omnivorous appetite for various musical influences and techniques: bottom up sound design and sequencing, polyrhythmic percussion, extended harmonies and electronica.

A paulistana Ágatha Barbosa (aka Cigarra) deflora seus sets há 9 de seus 29 anos e agora, renascida, finaliza este primeiro EP com músicas que fizeram parte desta história mais recente do seu trabalho de recortes.

Suas pesquisas têm base em culturas tanto ancestrais e orgânicas quanto urbanas e sintéticas, e de eletrônicos guetificados ao rock psicodélico.

Brian Morgan, guitarist who played on the classic Sugar Hill Gang cut "Rappers Delight and who was a young protégé to soul legend Kashif.
Here we have the feel good cut of "A good time" 
Due to a move in location Brian decided to shelve this song for the time being, and concentrate on other matters.
Around late 2014 he dug out the old tapes and carried on from where he left of, like no time had even passed.
He kept most parts of those original 1987 recordings, and gave them a little modern day sparkle.
Both sides are previously un-issued until today.
And will be for general release on limited vinyl only late august early September on www.superdiscoedits.com

Ilona Maras, Sanja - Existe (Bryan Kessler's Vocal Looper) [Get Physical Music] [MI4L.com]

Following a run of releases for his Retrograde label and a track featured on the 100 Dirt Crew Compilation Berlin based DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt continues his upwards trajectory, once again enlisting the services of legendary Chicago vocalist Paris Brightledge who recently collaborated with Paranoid London on their "Paris Dub 1 & 2" records.  
 Stepping up first is the original mix of ‘Shattered’ with Hoffstadt and Brightledge delivered a raw, experimental house feel via broken drums breaks, sweeping synth chords and acidic bass chops, whilst Paris’ vocal stylings add a soulful edge to the record. An ‘Instrumental’ mix of ‘Shattered’ follows and as the name would suggest lays focus on the rhythmic and melodic aspects of the composition, shining light on the swinging breaks, emotive string melodies. Lastly to complete the package is ‘Elevate’ which sees Hoffstadt fuse weighty drums and ethereal pad swells with arpeggio synth leads and subtly unfolding intricacies, whilst Brightledge’s understated vocal contributions further fuel the records hypnotic feel.
