My goal was to create music for a a secret village with a mysterious eastern vibe. The music is designed to be dynamic, so there is two loops in there. The beginning (and technically the end) of the soundtrack is for exploring, and the middle is for combat.

Town Music - Himitsu

I’ve created a character theme for a type of sentry drone that guards the town I created for my town theme: 'Himitsu'.

I’ve also layered in some sounds that Saboto makes during combat, which are technically not part of the music, but contribute a bit to the overall atmosphere.

Lore:
Saboto is the guardian of the installation and the secret village of Himitsu, hidden in the mountains of Japan. His task is to keep the secret tokens from falling into the hands of strangers, and protecting Himitsu. After his initial booting up, Saboto quickly uploaded his profile and recognized his programmers through his facial recognition software. After a short conversation with his programmers (who were merely interested in him stating his functions) he started to engage on his mission to protect the secrets of Himitsu at all costs. This initial contact was the only peaceful interaction Saboto has had in his existence. Ever since then he has neutralised any threat and any thief that has come to rob the secrets of the installation.

"So Young" (also known as "I'm So Young") is a song written written by William H. "Prez" Tyus, Jr. and first released in May, 1958 as a single by the Students, a doo-wop group out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Since then it's been covered by many artists, perhaps most notably the Ronettes, whose version inspired my cover. It's a sort of cute and cheesy love song but the simplicity and naivety drew me in. Hope you can dig!
