Carlos Poppi a.k.a Dub Recycle from the country side in the state of São Paulo has been a DJ since the age of 12 and already have lived and studied music production in the Berlin, Germany for three years. He is one of the founders of the Wir Lieben night in south of Brazil, and today lives half in Spain and Brazil. His work dictates a personality between melody and melancholy. In 2008 he started his deep house project Dub Recycle and from then on he has had his natural transition into melodic techno.
With releases on some of the world's leading record labels like Steyoyoke, Us and Them and Qilla Records to name a few, his track "Under your Skin feat Kieran Fowkes" has selected by "Electronic Rising" a huge playlist on Spotify.

ICONYC is delighted to welcome back Rafa'EL to the label with his brand-new 'Diopside EP'. The talented Polish producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with his unique and timeless productions. 

On his return Rafa'EL leads with the outstanding 'Diopside'; a stunning driving melodic progressive house affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. Clever synth phrases complete the picture and create an ingeniously worked piece of art.

The electronica downtempo soundscapes of the accompanying title track 'A Matter of Time' round off this spectacular release. Rafa'EL's influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations.
