This song is still in progress. My brother Christian Foley-Beining composed and plays it or as he would say "just improvised". It will be a duet but Armin sang both parts for demo. When I first heard the melody right away there were those pictures about loss and pain. It's about a man who lost his beloved wife in an accident and still years later he can't release her. They keep having heart to hearts...

Sankthansaften - or SHA as we call it - is rather a project than a band.

"The real musician" is my brother Christian Foley-Beining who studied guitar and bass among others at the Musicians Institute in LA. He is a Jazz musician from the bottom to the top and I just love his compositions and improvisations with his sensitive playing and his know-how. He already has released a couple cds with his Jazz compositions.
He lives in Healdsburg, California, so we don't see eachother a lot and our musical project isn't always easy to implement. In his area he plays solo gigs as well as with different musicians.

Then there is Armin always coming up with great and crazy drafts. He was busy lately working on his German Song Career and his new project world-sound-colours (www.reverbnation.com/label/worldsoundcolours). So I am happy to have him back for SHA as a composer, producer and singer. He hardly knows a note but plays the piano and guitar. His ears still hear a butterfly cough 5000 miles away.

Myself - Susa - I started witing lyrics in English couple years ago and also began to learn how to sing. Well, I'm still learning. My ears unfortunately hear a cow cough at the max. So there is still a lot to do. I love writing and whenever Christian and Armin present a new layout, pictures come up to my mind and sculpt a story which I work up to the final lyrics. Lately I wrote my first German lyrics which was the hardest I had to do up till today.

I hope we get to know a lot of good musicians which want to accompany Sankthansaften in the future...
