I don't have the adequate poetry to describe the enigma that is C-Love but I can say that she was playing South African House records about 5 years before it was a thing and listening to her play 'Was Dog A Donut' at minus 20 BPM tripping balls on a floaty at the Sunset Campout was on of my all time fave DJ experiences. This bit special Sunset Lovers session is coming from the heavy-duty digger and one of the most revered collectors and selectors  Simon Sanky.

Sanky has spent a lot of his life with his head in a (literal) dusty bin full of records, looking for sounds that were less than successful at the time. 

Coming from the north of England, he grew up on rare soul and jazz and found a deep connection to the most special of formats, the 7”, which is most of what he collects nowadays. 
As a long-term loft fanatic, he has been influenced to let records play longer and drift around to hopefully create a feeling and not just a ‘set’.
