Sann Odea welcomes NAKANO BLU ( @nakanoblu ) to the label with his spectacular EP ‘Sentadona’. The Amsterdam-based producer means business and delivers four high-energy club tracks.

After his early days of lo-fi house and dub techno, his practice moved into the sounds of IDM and diasporic-latin influenced club music. This evolution is evident in the title track, where the Spanish-born artist showcases his talent for blending unconventional rhythms, dark textures, and FX, all while maintaining a danceable and effective style for the club. On ‘Deconstructivisme,’ NAKANO collaborated with fellow Amsterdam-based producer Berman, resulting in a bass-driven journey featuring a catchy melody and an unexpected twist. As for ‘Broken Glass Inside My Shoes,’ the title speaks for itself. NAKANO’s experimental side takes the lead, crafting an eerie yet bold track with enough subs to shake your core.

The EP concludes in style with ‘Ortiga’, where NAKANO switches to the evereffective 4x4 rhythm for the first time, showcasing his ability to contrast raw organic sounds with the synthetic nature of electronic club music.

SO008 | NAKANO BLU - Sentadona EP

jmoy ( @j_moy ) is the musical alias of artist and designer Justin Moy. Influenced by his background in architecture, the Amsterdam-based producer draws analogies between spatial design and musical composition, seeking to tell imaginary spatial narratives through sound.

The music resulting from this is a sonic journey traveling through a sequence of spaces, transitioning between interiors, exteriors, and the thresholds between them.

The first culmination of these sonic and spatial explorations is "Udys," jmoy's debut EP. "Udys" consists of four tracks, each envisioned as a narrative journey through and imaginary world. Atmospheric and rhythmic elements found within field recordings from his environments lay the foundation for each track.

SO009 | jmoy - Udys EP

Annebel is a producer and DJ based in Tilburg (Netherlands). After releasing her debut track on the 3024 mentoring compilation in 2024, she freed up her sound and let it grow in halftime territories.

This resulted in her textured, bass heavy debut EP on Sann Odea with 4 experimental electronic tracks and a minimal remix by Beatrice M. to top it off. The tracks were written while researching the work of British philosopher Mark Fisher. Fisher infamously stated that no new music has been made since the 2000s. Music innovation, a constant modernist driver of the sense of the future, has also stagnated, leaving behind only 20th-century aesthetics and samples reused in the 21st century.

But instead of mourning the future, Annebel explores different conceptions of newness by using various sample techniques like granular synthesis and stretching field recordings, letting past, present and future collide. As the sounds and samples evolve in unrecognizable shapes through modulation and re-playing, the concept of newness is expanded beyond familiar forms, proposing that the sense of future is not created by an aesthetic but through the friction of practice, play and reproduction.

SO010 | Annebel - Exploiting The Situation EP

Utilizing chance parameters and dug-up files from an internet overloaded with useless data, Buur created a whirlwind of digitally manipulated noise and hard-hitting percussive elements. At the core of this five-track EP lies a sense of surrender to an endless, over-the-top supply of content, invading one’s grey matter whether they look away or not. Data literally overflows into our shared space, and Data Debris similarly tries to brute-force its way into the frontal lobe.

After a long period of seclusion as the world had been dealing with a global pandemic, Teqmun emerges from the silence delicately with his first-ever EP, Phototropism.

Buur makes his debut on Amsterdam-based label Sann Odea with a five-track beast of an EP, including an excellent remix by Teqmun.

Utilizing chance parameters and dug-up files from an internet overloaded with useless data, Buur created a whirlwind of digitally manipulated noise and hard-hitting percussive elements. At the core of this five-track EP lies a sense of surrender to an endless, over-the-top supply of content, invading one’s grey matter whether they look away or not. Data literally overflows into our shared space, and Data Debris similarly tries to brute-force its way into the frontal lobe. '
