In the fall of 08 Kane and his BMX bike had a run in with an 18 wheel truck, he almost bought the store, however he survived and made it through a year of rehab, getting through some exotic physical pain with the help of ice chips and morphine.  "What I remember about this mix was that I sat in a chair to make it, as standing wasn't an option, listening back now, Im happy that the mix isn't so dark, and seems to have plenty of optimism sewn into it." Chilean DJ @paulatape learnt her craft in an after-hours club back home in Santiago, where she would crib from the residents before launching out on her own. A move to Milan led to her becoming a resident at the city's Rollover night, and now she's starting to make a name for herself with shows across Europe, playing with the likes of Young Marco, Mall Grab and Tornado Wallace. In addition to her regular show on Radio Raheem called 'Music for Plants', Paula has also appeared on Rinse FM and Red Light Radio. Enough words though - this excellent mix, which we're very grateful to Paula for recording for us - should be all the necessary introduction to this exciting DJ.

Helsinki based selector Juuso Tervo clusters all things psychadelic in just over an hour's grind. Having started mixing in the mid 2000's Juuso leaned toward electronic italo sounds as a DJ, however now draws from his earlier musical educations in prog rock, psychedelia, fusion, and jazz. 

His selections are dictated by the intensities different tracks have, viewing the act as a kind of composition. Breaking down and repurposing the contexts of the music is equally important to Juuso, which always ensures that special element of surprise.
