As we build up momentum and start to get our lives back on track, something (life) might be moving a little too fast. It would be wise to take note, take some time out, and slow down for a minute (or 127). It just so happens that I have the ultimate reality stabiliser in the form of an emotional tapestry to help you do this, woven by none other than Mr. Kev Danzey, one of the unofficial mascots of Naarm. 

Now, this bloke is a bit of an enigma, a big heart with a smile to match always got time for everyone else, someone you’d like to have a beer with. Incredibly talented on both sides of the decks, his net casts deep into every corner of the audible universe. He can mix his way into and out of a baking competition. A founding member of the Sunset Sounds movement (TIP!! (Of the hat to k-hole disco)), Wether a 5 am D-floor destroyer or dinner time digestive discourse in all things non-dance, his grasp on all things musical is second to none, and this little recorded piece of time is a resume to back this up. 

Never has there been such an acute collection of emotional pieces put together in such a way that has the potential to move mountains. I’ve listened to this mix so many times and it hits every-fucking-time, at certain points reverberating through the body, in-between those points, coursing through the body like blood. Maybe I'm a bit dramatic but I'm just trying to get the point across, maybe I’m also biased, but fuck it. Anyway, this is something you send to your parents and play to your children, it transcends most things and ascends most situations. Perfect for road trips down the coast with people you hold dear. On that note, go for a drive, press play, get out of here, cya when you get back.
