About the Creation of the Song - "I Forgive What You Are"

"I Forgive What You Are" was born from the desire to explore the silent power of forgiveness in the face of destruction, pain, and chaos. Inspired by the image of a young farmer facing the relentless force of a storm, the song reflects forgiveness not as a passive response, but as a profound act of resistance and internal renewal. The storm, which asks for no apologies, serves as a metaphor for life’s challenges, which often arise without warning and without mercy. Yet, the farmer finds the strength to forgive the storm, not for what it does, but for what it represents.

We chose a simple and direct structure, with short verses and a chorus that resonates reflectively. The repetition of "I forgive what you are" brings the idea of forgiveness not as sentimentality, but as a realistic and liberating act. The lyrics aim to capture a sense of acceptance, without illusions, but with the clarity of someone who understands that even the most destructive force has its role. In the end, the song reminds us that, even without rewards or reparations, forgiveness can create space for peace and internal reconciliation.
