Ego Dissolve rides into new territory with Old Time Road, an EP where cinematic storytelling meets deep electronic grooves. Rooted in jazz phrasing, improvisation, and syncopated rhythmics, “So Dreamed Times” blends melancholic piano with triumphant trumpets and deep house energy. Playful, distorted vocals repeat like an autogenic training, turning fragments of a lullaby into a surreal, autobiographical reflection — an embrace of both melancholy and empowerment on the path to brighter days. / This track emerges from my jazz background, where I wanted to explore phrasing, improvisation, and the textures of acoustic instruments. I began with the idea of playing with rhythms and sounds that evoke the atmosphere of a jazzy lullaby, then placed them within a deep, powerful house landscape. Playful distorted vocals weave through the track, recalling the lullaby theme while carrying lyrics that shift between the surreal and the biographical - Luisa Rossini, a.k.a. NoN project, is a music producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ.
NoN project began as a jazz singer before diving into electronic production, blending downtempo, deep house, melodic techno, trip-hop, and nu-jazz. Her style merges Italian-inflected vocals, jazzy warmth, distorted tones, and surreal lyrics with layers of guitar, synths, trumpet, and piano over deep house grooves and syncopated beats. Eclectic and playful, she creates soundscapes that move from dreamy atmospheres to vibrant dance-floor energy, reflecting the diversity of her musical journey.

“I'd like to share how I inspired me to create tracks and why Felicette.
Felicette is the first cat to visit space. Electrodes were implanted into her brain to control her condition during the flight. Upon her return, Felicette was taken to CERMA, where she was studied for two-three months.
Unfortunately, she was euthanized to continue her research. This story makes you wonder about the cost of scientific advancement, and how we treat animals in their quest for new knowledge.
I wish her name was never forgotten first release will be dedicated to her

Santi (from Asunción, Paraguay) and Tuğçe (from Istanbul, Turkey) left their homes to follow their dreams of music and have been road companions and musical partners for more than a decade. Currently based in Berlin after many years of living in the US where they first met, they each bring a vibrant mosaic of influences and ideas from all over the world: soulful melodies, colorful instrumentation, dreamy harmonies, and surgically engineered dance-floor beats, informed by years of Santi’s training in music composition and computer science along with Tuğçe’s studies in jazz vocals and creative writing. To this date, they have performed in many major electronic and world music festivals, clubs, theaters, and concert halls throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America and received critical acclaim worldwide (e.g. Oye! on NPR’s “Latin Roots: Best Alternative Songs of 2019”, Songs for my Grandmother among Beehype’s “Best Albums from Turkey” in 2017).
