It didn’t take a hit radio release to draw a slew of teen girls online to listen to Santino Rose everyday—just a YouTube video. With it the new Pop/R&B Singer/Songwriter out of Washington, D.C., introduced us to a youthful, multitalented performer with a story to tell, After garnering so much attention online, Grammy Award winning Songwriter and Producer, Harold Lilly, Jr. saw the video of Santino and flew him out to Los Angeles to work with him and fellow Grammy Award winning Songwriter/Producer, Elvis “Black Elvis” Williams. They immediately began writing and recording with Santino taking his already stellar sound to the ultimate next level in Pop and R&B.

 

With his first musical influence being his own father, who saw Santino’s passion and began to teach him about singing and performing as early as three years old; culminating in his first live performance at a local barbershop, singing and dancing.

 

Ever adamant about not just performing but delivering something special with his music, he states, "I want to help people. I want to use music as a tool to tell my story. I want to tell it, not just because it is my story, but to inspire people to believe anything is possible if you keep following your heart. I want to make people believe in themselves.” Often compared to legend Michael Jackson, and more recent radio favorite Bruno Mars; Santino still owns his own level.

 
With standout vocals on cuts like “Love Is War” he demonstrates his vocal soul is older than he is. At times he delivers a falsetto that rises into your head with a rush of well-crafted lyrics, backed by a melodiously riveting track. Even his brief jam, “Interlude” is enough to seep into your record collection as a keeper. His songwriting offers cuts that are fun, energetic, feel good records that people of all ages can identify with, with a tone that sticks like glue to the senses.
