Rumi, the Third Eye, and Inner Meditation: A short two-minute recording featuring a couple of verses from Rumi, and an interpretation of those verses from the book, With the Three Masters. The third eye (single eye) is considered to be the "Seat of the Soul" in the human body, and serves as portal or gateway to the Kingdom of the Heavens (Inner Space) making it possible to access our spiritual senses of inner seeing and hearing. In Sant Mat, the Path of the Masters, the spiritual journey begins in meditation at the third eye center: 

"When we receive initiation from a Saint, practice Naam simran to retrace our consciousness from toes to a spot behind the eyes [Third Eye Center], only then something is accomplished."  (Baba Kehar Singh)

My focus is spirituality: using the radio airwaves, the spoken word, writing, and online social networking/blogging to promote spirituality, meditation, religious literacy, inter-faith studies and dialogue, comparative religion, going vegan --  education for a more peaceful world. This includes AHIMSA principals of non-violence in thought, word, and deed, raising awareness about certain civilization-busting issues including climate change, and promoting the vegetarian vegan diet. Interested in networking with organizations that desire the constructive use of media to advance health, well being, and positive change.

Mission Statement: 'There's not just one religion – there are thousands! After years of being concerned that too few voices, too few points of view were getting heard when it comes to spiritual paths and world religions – that the radio airwaves were not reflecting the diversity that really exists – I started producing my own programs, exploring the world of spirituality, comparative religion, meditation, mysticism, websites, the vegetarian vegan diet, and books, bringing to the airwaves: the gentle voices of Saints, the Wisdom of Masters or Mystics, world scriptures, sacred texts, the great spiritual traditions and classics of the East & the West.'

Interests: Exploring the World of Spirituality, Comparative Religion, Meditation, Websites, and Books, Including World Scriptures, Gnostic Texts, Spiritual Classics, Guidance by Living Teachers, and Other Books that Matter – A Format of Essays and Interviews.

Have been involved with Public Radio, Radio For Peace International, the community radio movement, Wisdom Radio, satellite radio and television, am an independent producer currently creating programs for several stations, including HealthyLife.Net – The Positive Talk Radio Network. I review books, am an author, teacher, public speaker, broadcaster.
