Welcome dear people, today we share with you the 70th episode of the Stellar Series by Rene Lorenzo.

Rene Lorenzo is a Dj and an electronic music producer.
His music focuses on deep, hypnotic sounds, intriguing melodies, and random textured rhythms.
Deep Techno, Ambient or Downtempo are the sounds that most define his productions.
His musical background has led him to develop his own sound and to publish music on different labels in the electronic scene and on his Celluar Memory label.
In this two-hour set of contemplative music, he shows us a small sample of his vinyl collection from some of the artists and labels that have most influenced him.

Our platform has a strong connection with the vibrant Dutch scene. The sheer number of talented producers, DJs, and people interested in electronic music, in general, is astonishing. Making your talent stand out in that 'environment' is quite challenging, but when your skill is noticed, it must be for a reason. Our guest today, Bas Dobbelaer, has many reasons to be noticed. He's an incredibly talented producer and razor-sharp DJ with broad music knowledge but, first and foremost, a charismatic person and fun to be around. 

From our party with the dear SoHaSo crew back in 2018, when Bas and his comrade Viktor aka Vand, played a fabulous ambient set, until today, numerous outstanding releases, remixes, podcasts, and parties are under Bas' belt, and he's become one of the prominent figures in the Amsterdam's underground music scene. 

In light of Bas' and Vand's upcoming remix package on SoHaSo, which features works by Ultrastation, Donato Dozzy, Shoal, Gal Tsadok-Hai, and Marco Shuttle, we are happy to welcome Bas back here at Delayed. This time with a crème de la crème mix that is hypnotic in the word's true meaning. 
Deep and atmospheric with immaculate programming and seamless mixing, this mix has been on repeat in the past few days here at Delayed, and we are sure that the same destiny awaits you. A pure class from Bas!

Every time I see the calm sea
I remember voices from my childhood,
I look for a word that was never spoken.

The sea is calm, like the face of a child after dark night’s
unrest. I love its breathing, the movement of waves, like a
mother’s breath, are so loving that in the past they

put out the alarm, the storm, the fears of childhood
and now calm some future alarm and fears and storm
off the whole world’s coast. Yes, that was the moment I found

a word that had been spoken only once, maybe, or was never
spoken at all. All these storms are in me now, that’s
why I’m calm, I am the captain of all calmness, mother.
