Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" has always had a different meaning for me. My parent's divorce happened around the same time this came out and I couldn't help but feel like it's a song for me for my little brother.

He is doing great now, and so are my parents. But sadly, I've recently been very depressed.

So now I interpret this song as a reminder to myself that "you and I'll be safe and sound".
