After spending years in the vault, I have decided to release the original demo for my song, When the Penny Drops. I wrote and recorded this piece on the day my grandfather died in 2019, because I was unfortunately across the country while my family dealt with the practical aftermath. They said it accurately articlated how they felt on the day, so I'm posting this publicly in case it helps anyone else feel less alone while enduring a profound loss. No, it's not perfect, but that's not the point. Enjoy <3
