‘Out of the Blue’, is Sapta’s latest EP including singles like ‘Midnight Magic’, ‘It’s Ok’ & ‘A Life Like This’, featuring Skipster, HashBass & Gaya. This five-track EP explores & elevates itself with a mix of Live-Electronic & Lofi/Hip-Hop sounds. 
Marti, the Composer/Producer of Sapta describes, “I named the EP by the ocean when I heard it as a whole for the first time. It gave me a refreshing feel that resonated with an aquatic emotion, like you’re coming out of the water. This EP was produced & scheduled for a release out of the blue as well, in between our other releases that are scheduled till 2025. Marti also adds ‘It was also very important for me to express these sounds & emotions even if it’s spontaneous & risky.”

Sapta returns with the 11th album titled  Black Box. This is a sonic vault, a place where every pulse, glitch, and breath has been archived and reimagined. Across seven expansive tracks, Sapta pieces together fragments of memory and emotion, shaping them into a body of work that feels both vast and intimate.

Drawing from Live-Electronic Music, Indian rhythmic foundations, and sweeping orchestral flourishes, Black Box unfolds like a transmission from another dimension. It’s grand in scale, yet pensive in spirit. From the explosive urgency of “Open Fire” and the cinematic weight of “Leap of Faith,” to the layered tension in “Signs & Sirens” and the hushed introspection of “Micro Expressions,” each track reveals a deeper layer of the self.

This is Sapta blurring lines between machine and myth, silence and sound. Minimal yet emotionally rich. Futuristic, but grounded in something timeless.

'Future Gold', 9th song in the X journey, is the music of an exciting future that is waiting for us all. A tribal song from the future, it conveys the excitement of the future in itself, a future that will be written by the young generations of the present.

We are only limited by the imaginary walls we built around us. A collaboration between Sapta and Amrit (IN) and the 6th song in the X bandwagon, 'Imaginary walls' implicitly asks us to crush those imaginary walls of limitations, or slavery, or physical borders we have built around us. Once the walls come down, our creativity will see no bounds.

An Invisible Crown

'A Castle of Dreams' is the 'mic-drop' moment for Sapta's X, ending the musical treatise with a magical instrumental song in the cinematic world music. Shravan Sridhar's violin merged with Marti Bharath's command over musical composition to give birth 'Caste of Dreams.' This song holds the capability to give birth to your dreams and aspirations, building a castle of your dreams, so one day you can live each one of those dreams.

Kingdoms rise and fall and so does songs around those kingdoms, as has been the musical tradition of the human civilisation.  Written and sung by well-known Ukrainian artist, Romario Punch and composed by Marti Bharath, 'Kingdom Rise' is a revolutionary song that celebrates the new dawn as a new Kingdom rises, without borders and boundaries, but with infinite freedom and love.

Do you identify yourself with just one identity? The deeper you think, the better you will realise the existence of infinite identities within ourselves, some explored, other unexplored. 'Infinite Identities' is a celebratory song for the infinite identities and for all those who have harnessed their power.

The X is musical story encompassing all the ideas and the energies that a young global population represents, more specifically from the global south, led by India. It is the story of the churning that India, as a nation and a conscious collective, seems to have gone through in the 21st century and more recently since 2020, the year of the pandemic.

There are overall 18 million Indian immigrants in the world, and many more from the rest of the developing world, ready to change their location in an instant to see and explore what the world has to offer. 'Change your Location' represents their impromptu plans and energy of exploration.

So he ended up takin' up an apartment right next to mine and we ended up workin on the first track together. He's the quarantine chef & I'm the Dish-Washer.

The Victor writes the law; in our case the international law, so far dictated by the west. Though it is now seeing the Indian and the developing world's scrutiny and check. 'Our Law' the third song of the album, takes us through the journey of pursuit and passion, to bring equality to the global law and order.

The most ambitious of all the songs in the album, and a sequel to 'The Sound of this Nation' song released in 2014, 'The Sound of the Nation II' represents the chaotic yet amusingly streamlined wave of energy of the Indian subcontinent in last few years that is ready to take on the world, whether in the field of music, sports, dance, policy making, movie making, economy, or art.

I'm not really stuck in Goa. My neighbors are two Psy-Trance Dj/Producers, my friend Kon-Ark is the chef, I got my dog (Mozart aka Mozy) here with me. Studio is lit. My owners are insanely amazing. I'm loving this lock-down.
