For 150 we have invited the producer @dima-kachan to contribute an hour to our mix series. 

A musical journey that began in 2009 in Warsaw’s hardore & punk enclaves quickly grew into something far bigger, and he established Pravda25 in 2018. 

Best known for the organisation of the renowned queer event Somasutra, this has become a vibrant space where people unite to celebrate music, diversity, and the essence of liberation. This same spirit permeates all of his work; anchored in punk music and a profound appreciation for classic techno, this sense of freedom is manifest in both his DJ sets and his own productions.

I have come to notice that being an artist is a back and forth between inhibition and release. Posting this mix is a small release.

It’s a 30-minute hybrid set - a mix of beloved gems on wax and digital treasures.
It weaves through some of my favorite spaces: techno, electro, ambient, trance, experimental textures, jungle, and even drum and bass.

Mixing across those genres isn’t always easy, but here I tried to trace a single axis -of tempo, rhythm, energy. From sparse to dense. Steady to broken. Reflective to kinetic.

I’ve always loved what Objekt said in an interview with Resident Advisor:

"Tempo is one axis in the overall multi-dimensional space of music.
Energy level is another. There's a lot of different melodic components that factor in as well—like density and sparsity. All of these things are directions that you can go in from a certain point."

Recording this set felt like driving a super fast car (which might explain the length. Too fast to last :D)

Born in Jerusalem and based in Tel Aviv, Assaf began his DJ career in 1994 by collecting records from all over the globe. This led to the eventual creation of his Youtube channel, WAX2WAX, which showcases his love of house and techno vinyl records. His channel also has a sub series called ‘Meet The Artist’ where only tracks from the featured artist are mixed. Notable episodes have featured Amotik, Orbe, Abdulla Rashim / Anthony Linell, Luigi Tozzi and Oscar Mulero to name a few. 

I have been a big fan of his channel especially as he tends to lean towards the deeper, hypnotic side of the techno spectrum and I highly advise you to check out his channel to really see his passion for the genre in full effect.

BEMUSEMENT es un DJ de techno y selector musical afincado en Győr/Hungría. Nació en 1997 y empezó a tocar música hace 5 años, pero le gusta la música electrónica desde muy joven. Su estilo es mayoritariamente experimental/ligeramente industrial/oscuro, pero también le gustan los ritmos más enérgicos; al mismo tiempo, en su mundo sonoro se pueden encontrar los ritmos más profundos y minimalistas, desde el techno hasta el ambient.

Ha aparecido como invitado en varias series de podcasts nacionales e internacionales.

En esta mezcla, muestra principalmente su lado más fuerte mezclado con groove y sonidos industriales.

His early exposure to electronic music fused with an interest in sci-fi aesthetics, informing a style that feels both grounded and futuristic.
