"May you go forward with Grace and Fortitude"  This a song about love.  My mother wrote these words on a card, the day I started first grade.  I still have the card.   This song was written on  the day my mom left this earth, as walked the shore at Stinson beach.  I reflected on all the love , wisdom, and experience she gave, the music legacy she left, and this.

Grace And Fortitude

Written in the house I grew up in, on the South Side of Chicago,  this song is a look back on my growing up, wisdom and truth passed down from generations gone by, and the sorrow that can come when those times have passed.  The good times, the mythology of escape, and heading off on that Sweet Soul Train....but keeping close to our hearts how loved ones have guided us along dark and joyful paths

The Love Surrounds

A song for the holidays about staying connected, even when we're apart.  One Star is about longing, for times gone by, for home, and for love. The solace, comfort, and hope we may find when we look to the sky and the light. The same sky, the same star we can gaze upon, near or far, and share the spirit of togetherness.
