RPブー・バイオグラフィー

TraxmanやDJ Clentと並び90年代から活躍するシカゴ・ジューク第一世代のパイオニア。1997年にリリースされた幻の〈Dance Mania〉285番に収録、 同レーベルから再発された’Baby Come On’が後のフットワークのひな形となり、　ジャンルの創始者として、また人格者としても敬愛されている。Jlin擁するクルー〔D’Dynamic〕を主宰し、話題となった名コンピレーション『Bangs & Works 』の第一弾と第二弾共に収録、2013年のデビュー・アルバム『Legacy』のリリースを皮切りに世界へと羽ばたき、その年に初来日も果たしている。DJ Rashadのブレイク以降オリジネーターとして世界的な認知を収め、Rick Owensのパリ・コレクションでの楽曲使用、UKベースを先導する〈Night Slugs〉のパーティーに出演、昨年は自身も所属する〔Teklife〕クルーによる〈Hyperdub〉からのDJ Rashad追悼コンピレーション『Next Life』に参加するなど活動の幅を広げ、シーンの最前線でフットワークを布教する先導者。
