🍌 𝕋𝕦𝕥𝕥𝕠𝕟𝕦𝕕𝕠 𝕚𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕥𝕖𝕤 @sarabamba 

SARA e BAMBA sono due personaggi dal genere fluido, come delle Paola e Chiara ma più disinvolte, dissolute, disilluse e perennemente innamorate. Generate dalla noia pandemica e fatte della stessa sostanza di Lindsay Lohan, si aggirano nella umida Firenze per diffondere un pop frizzantino senza età e senza censure. Le canzoni esaltano con piglio ironico il marciume della vita della provincia 2.0, i cui paesaggi sonori sono i rombi di motore, le suonerie degli iPhone e i tormentoni di TikTok, e dove la droga e l’alcool forniscono l’unica via di uscita a quello che sembra essere un loop distopico e infinito.

SARABAMBA is the name of the queertech project born in Florence, Italy in 2022. Collaborating with the producer Abo Abo, SARA and BAMBA have established a musical project featuring original “frizzantino” (fizzy) pop tracks. Their DJ sets constitute a diverse flow of techno selections, while maintaining a plurality of subgenres, with tribal and trance influences. Since 2022, they have built a versatile and inclusive collective, comprising DJs, performers, visual artists, photographers, graphic designers, and stylists. All of this finds expression in the events of the format created by SARABAMBA, AstroFluid, resident at the Cassero LGBTQIA+ Center in Bologna, as well as in select Tuscan clubs. The choice to wear masks, initially to avoid recognition by their mothers, has evolved over time into an identity trait rooted in anonymity.

BELLA FISIKA è una visione notturna e febbrile condivisa da SARABAMBA e SANTAVIOLA.  I timbri disegnano un’atmosfera volutamente noir come se fosse la colonna sonora di “Ascensore per il patibolo” in un ipotetico remake futurista. L’ossessione per BELLA FISIKA, musa impalpabile del racconto, è legata al tartassamento effimero ma ripetuto della dimensione dei meme dei reel di Instagram e di TikTok. invocata con urla stravolte e lontane, si sublima in un solo di sax atonale. La produzione originale è di SARABAMBA e si ispira alla tradizione della dub techno.
