Inspired by the tv series and Max Richter film score. Haunting arabesque string samples with wonky beats, spooky sampling and vocals.

Taboo

A reflection on the life of a friend gone way too soon. Really rough and raw, ripped straight from my phone. The background chords are some what durgy , solemn and funereal but the beats in the middle lift it. They are a bit funky and full of whimsy, just like Tom. It's a reflection on the sadness of someone dying young but also the playfulness inherent in the personality of that person too and their joy for life that lives on.RIP

Melodies and songs which after being mulled over during the day, come out of my head and heart at night using the delicate thread of a half dreaming state and looped violin, vocals, piano and ambient beats to create a  soundscape which is built layer upon layer before falling away... 
Designed for the festival space, I've been given the opportunity to showcase my original work at many much loved SE Queensland festivals over the years including Modifyre, Earth Frequency, Jungle Love, Yonder, Northey St Solstice Fest and The Woodford Folk festival.
