Kathryn Brenna is a producer, vocalist, songwriter & DJ based in Bristol. Over the last two years she’s had releases on labels such as @sofasoundbristol, @innerground, @intriguednb & @rebelmusichq with a lot more collaborative and solo work on the way. Kathryn is a multi-genre artist who also has a hiphop / neo soul EP forthcoming this month on @alternate_uk under her alias @kyloairi, as well as a new exciting project delving into the 140 / dubstep scene, with an EP planned for 2024.

Liquid Summer Vibes

Music has always been at the heart of everything I have done. I started my journey in the music industry as an Audio Engineer after completing my training at SAE London in 2000.

Following my time at SAE, I worked in a mastering studio in North London but returned to SAE London as an Audio Supervisor training students in a professional studio environment on equipment such as the Neve VR Legend and  SSL G+ 4000 mixing consoles. 

After leaving London, I married music producer Bob Richardson who has had numerous dance music releases under The iNOVATOR, Floor Filler, Touch of Jazz, B-Rich, and NekLok. In 2003, I took a new and exciting path assisting Bob with his music licensing business and raising our son.

Now in 2023, with Bob, I am co-owner of Melodicloud production music library @melodicloud. I manage the day-to-day running of the business as well as the design, coding, and management of the Melodicloud website. 

I have just recently returned to writing music again and now feel ready and confident to just do what I do musically.
