I wrote this song with my sister, Cate Graves, in the Chihuahuan desert in West Texas under a star filled sky. We sat under a fall moon and as we started singing the lines, something cathartic started happening. The desert was quiet. It was healing. We reflected on what can happen in nature, with no one to judge you and the acceptance that you are worthy just as you are. The vibe is reminiscent of Milk Carton Kids, David Rawlings, with a War On Drugs finish.

A love song. Lyrics use the metaphor of songwriting to describe the relationship.
