This is in response to the wonderful naviarhaiku series from Naviar Records in the UK. this is challenge 511, I did the first 52 the first year and occassionally through the years to show my support of collaboration. Starting to be back into it now and enjoying it. Hope you do as well, it is emoting what the haiku says, I hope.

This is my contribution to Haiku 274.
The poem conveyed a sense of desolation. I wanted to capture this beautiful sense of darkness and yet convey light bursting through.
I kept thinking of the color yellow, how it can be mellow and then also very bright and energetic.

Based on a recent conversation on twitter I was interested in using a variety of delay effects.

Sarah is a Peoria singer-songwriter with an electronic twist, writing and recording out of her home studio.  Known for her eclectic music style and intricate piano improvisations, Sarah released her 3rd LP "Penguin Party" in December of 2017.

With a sound rooted in classical piano, her studio work relies on strong keyboard work,  ambient washes, electronic nuance, vocoders, and some beautiful vintage gear.
