sat through a choral tenebrae service today and felt a strong desire to sing... song contains 1-5 parts here, trying to replicate the choral feel - the etherealness of the sound (will always remember Chloe telling us to sing such that our voices would spiral up and up and up to reach the spires of the church and just envelope the whole building). but just a 2 hour job with Garage Band and no mic/speaker so please forgive me

When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

In the display photo is the most joyful woman I've ever met, Remela from Prayer Tower. She has terrible arthritic knees that prevent her from walking a distance of 2 metres without stopping and holding onto anything she can grab for balance. While I don't always understand what she says, her joy for life and God is unmistakeable, and her laughter is terribly infectious.
