I was honoured to be given the OK to add some accompanying instrumentation to a lovely song written & performed by Takken Wish (https://soundcloud.com/takken-wish). The lyrics crept up on me as I was listening to the song for musical ideas; it reminds me of a similar long lost old friend from my younger years who drifted off to somewhere...

I'm playing the upright bass, organ, and cello here (all on keys), and we've each uploaded a slightly different version of the cello part. Check out Takken's version, which has a more layered cello arrangement:

I originally reached out to fellow SoundClouder and Vocalist Nadia Selvaggi, @nadiaselvaggi ,wondering if she'd like to collaborate on one of my orchestral-fusion compositions. And Happily she said Yes! 😊

After a few weeks of Listening, she zeroed in on one of my favorites entitled - Cosmic Cycles*. And as i expected, her thoughtful, lyrical and awesomely powerful Vocalaise certainly takes the piece to new Cosmic heights.
I'm so thankful for her creative contribution to this piece.

This is how we sound at our rehearsals. There was a room mic, also each instrument was tracked seperately. There are NO OVERDUBS, NO COPY/PASTE, NO PITCH CORRECTION. Therefore there are MISTAKES.
